Book of Me: January 2009: A Hobby That I Love

you've made several books for neighbors and even made one for the loss of your pet...isn't it about time you made a book for yourself?
Introducing - the BOOK OF ME challenge.
Yes, that's right.... Miki Ferkul and Saxon Holt challenge you to make just ONE page a month about yourself. Come on and join us, you're WORTH scrapping about!

For the month of January 2009, our Book of Me Challenge focuses on:
"A Hobby That I Love......"

Some layout or journaling prompts might include:

• Do you knit/crochet? Needlepoint? Quilt? Sewing? Scrap a layout with some photos- take a picture and use it as a texture!
• Are you an amateur or hobbyist photographer- show us your work- or better yet, a picture of YOU working!
• Do you love to read? Scarp about your favorite book series or author!
• Are you a music-lover? Do a layout about your favorite bands/artists- or scrap some song lyrics!
• Are you a writer? Scrap a poem, an excerpt, an inspirational quote- share your skills!
• Do you like the theater? Broadway? Orchestras? Ballet? Show us some of your favorite shows!
You can use the show's website for inspiration, font ideas, bios of the stars and even photos for personal use!
• Do you like antiquing? Show us your latest finds!
• Crafty? Jewelry makers, show off your baubles!
• Movie or TV lover? Scrap about your favorite shows or stars- keep those memories alive!
• Are you a gardener? Those gardens are ripe with photo ops- just waiting to be immortalized!
• Genealogy your passion? Scrapbooking was MADE for genealogists! Let's see some of your family tree!
• Show us your special place where you enjoy your hobby- your craft room, that chair you lie to curl up in and read...your media room- wherever inspiration is born!
• Bird watcher, dog-breeders- horse riders: show us your treasured animals and feathered friends!
• Are you a collector? Coins, toys, dolls, stamps, books- show us some of your unique finds!

We can't WAIT to see what you all come up with this month!

and then left us a link in this thread so we can all "ooooo" and "aaahhh" over your special page!

By the way- feel free to elaborate on the challenge and make it a 2 page spread if the feeling moves you.
We'll give you the inspiration and you get to run with it!
