Book of Me ~ September: "Vintage School Days"

Introducing - the BOOK OF ME challenge.
Yes, that's right.... Miki Ferkul and Saxon Holt challenge you to make just ONE page a month about yourself. Come on and join us, you're WORTH scrapping about!

For the month of September 2009, our Book of Me Challenge focuses on:
"Vintage School Days......"

Some layout or journaling prompts might include:

• What was your most memorable school experience?
• Did you have a who impacted your life in a big way? If so, how?
• Was your favorite subject helpful to you later in life and how?
• Create a favorites list- include things like books, teachers, subjects, freinds, dances, sports, etc.?
• Use papers in the colors of your class- record your class song, mascot, motta, alma mater, etc.
• Create a graduation layout!

We can't WAIT to see what you all come up with this month!

Here's a peek at the mini kit- we're attaching 2 papers and a piece of word art to this post.

and then leave us a link in this thread so we can all "ooooo" and "aaahhh" over your special page!

By the way- feel free to elaborate on the challenge and make it a 2 page spread if the feeling moves you.

Love the colors! For those of us who don't have kiddies in school, I love the vintage idea of this kit. I have a lot of loose leaf paper, etc all ready!

I'm sorry you are having problems getting the papers and element. Let me see if I can help figure it out.
I just tried it, and the paper came through.
What happens when you click on the thumbnails located in the lower left-hand corner of the original thread?
When I do that, the screen turns black and there's a box with a graphic that goes round and round for a minute or so until the piece is loaded. That is the piece (paper or element) at full resolution, and you right click on it, and choose to save the image to your hard drive. If you click on the first one, when you are done saving it to your own hard drive, you should see a "Next" button at the bottom right of the box. Clicking that will load the next element/paper.

If that's not what's happening on your end, can you describe it to me? IF we can't get it figured out, I 'll figure out a different way to get you those pieces ASAP. I'll check back in this thread throughout the day!

Thanks for your help with this. Not sure what the problem was, but when I went back in I was able to get the papers and element with no problem. How nice of you to take the time to assist me-it is greatly appreciated.
